Introducing the demo databases

As an alternative to working on a database of your own or to some idea how the mail merge software integrates you can download sample databases contained in AccesMailMergeDemoDatabases.zip. After download, unzip the content to a trusted folder. Additionally, because you downloaded from the web, you have to unblock the demo databases: right-click the accdb file and go to Properties followed by selecting the Unblock checkbox.

You know have the following databases. Next, you probably want to visit the getting started database.

  • AccesMailMergeFeatures.accdb shows what elements (data, lists, tables, images, etcetera) that can be controlled in a particular document type – Word document, Spreadsheet or presentation.
  • AccesMailMergeDemo.accdb shows document creation applies to a single and multiple records, automatic saving of the documents and recording and retrieval of created documents.
